Jake Ryan

Jake Ryan has to be seen as one of the most quintessential characters of any school girl crush. Since the popularity of John Hugh's Sixteen Candles, the name "Jake Ryan" has become infamous in making girls swoon and has become associated with a dream-come- true/under-upper relationship.

I was 5 when "Sixteen Candles" came out.  It wasn't until I was 10-ish, that I started drooling over Jake Ryan (played by Michael Schoeffling). That brown hair and those puppy dog brown eyes.  They still get to me, to this day. I'm still waiting for my very own Jake Ryan to come along...
